Graphic File Preparation Tips

In order to ensure the timely and accurate production of exhibit graphics, clients need to follow the electronic file preparation guidelines below.

Panel Sizes for MDS Full Graphics Pop Ups:

(4) Panels at 30" x 90"

(2) End Panels at 15" x 90"

Resolution

Image files prepared at actual size must have a minimum resolution of 150 dpi. Files prepared at 50 percent of the actual size must have a minimum resolution of 300 dpi.

Raster images must have a minimum resolution of 150 dpi at 50 percent of actual size.

Please do not convert low-resolution images to a higher resolution.

Bleed Allowances

For prints in which the longest dimension is less than 50", we require 1/4" of bleed on each side. For prints in which the longest dimension is 50” or larger, please provide 1/2” of bleed on each side.
