Hyundai Motor America


OBJECTIVES: Hyundai Motor America's marketing plan called for continued enhancement of its displays to present a more upscale image to the general public. In addition, as the exhibit was to be used at several shows with differing floor plans, design flexibility was essential.

SOLUTIONS: Aluminum constructed hard wall panels covered in wood toned laminates with exposed metal surfaces were combined with large format video projection surfaces and interactive racing games to create an elegant, yet engaging, environment. Five exhibit kits of various sizes were built, each inlcuded multiple automobile turntables (provided by Turntable Works). The kits were used at more than one hundred auto shows over the course of three years.

RESULTS: The playful exhibit environment drew crowds that regularly exceeded booth capacity. The auto show program was lauded as an important component in Hyundai's vastly successful marketing campaign.
