OBJECTIVE: Dean Guitars, one of the nation’s leading manufacturers of musical instruments, needed an exhibit with sufficient space suitable for mounting a large number of its products. In addition, a mini-theater for performances and a private conference room were also required within the space.
SOLUTIONS: A two-story structure was employed with a private conference room on the second floor and ample storage space under its staircase. Acoustic guitars were displayed on ultra-light slat-wall panels covered in wood and other laminates. For the electric guitar display, each panel was designed as a stand-alone structure and placed side by side. Spotlighting was used to emphasize the visual beauty of the instruments. A mini stage set was built, using raised platforms, truss, theatrical lighting, and graphics. Performances were televised via MDS Exhibits’ Self-lifting LED Wall.
RESULTS: The booth attracted a record number of attendees for Dean Guitars. Sales for the company continue to rock on at a healthy clip.
