Centerline Wheels
OBJECTIVE: Centerline Wheels, a pioneer in handcrafted forged aluminum racing wheels, wanted to tell its unique corporate story at tradeshows, and set itself apart from the influx of overseas-based wheel manufacturers.
SOLUTIONS: MDS Exhibits designed a premium custom exhibit featuring an oversized replica of the Center Line insignia falcon at its center. To underline the company’s commitment to fine craftsmanship, the falcon was hand pounded from aluminum. The falcon was light enough to be lifted into place manually, eliminating the need for a costly forklift team.
The exhibit’s center tower and back wall were created using high-end wood laminate modular panels provided by MDS Exhibit’s sister company, Modular Display Systems. Twenty-six wheel display pedestals were employed to showcase Centerline’s diverse product line. The pedestals were set at various heights and were made from wood laminate covered modular panels.
RESULTS: Attendees told Centerline executives that its exhibit was the most memorable they had seen from a wheel manufacturer. In the wake of its trade show marketing initiative, the company experienced a significant increase in sales.
