Brembo North America
OBJECTIVES: In an effort to step-up its tradeshow marketing efforts, Brembo North America decided to build a second exhibit kit for regional trade shows. Since the company did not have “preferred” status at these shows, there was no way of knowing what type of space (linear, peninsula, or island) it would be granted. Therefore, it was essential that the new kit posses maximum design flexibility. Brembo also wanted to limit its re-occurring show service costs.
SOLUTIONS: An oversized two-part replica of the signature Brembo braking system was made from sculpted foam, molded fiberglass, and aluminum. The prop could be used either back-to-back to create an oversized braking system for use in island and peninsula booth configurations, or as two identical halves for use in linear booth configurations. Light-boxes were utilized to support large-format graphic prints. The exhibit’s back-wall and semi-private conference rooms were created using modular panels provided by MDS Exhibits sister company, Modular Display Systems.
RESULTS: Thanks to the oversized braking system prop and modular design, the exhibit was visible from any vantage point, and was lauded by Brembo executives for making the best use of Brembo marketing dollars. The exhibit fit into two lightweight aluminum shippers, weighed approximately 553 lbs, and assembled in less than two man-hours.
