American Suzuki Motor Corporation

OBJECTIVES: American Suzuki Motor Corporation (ASMC) wished to achieve maximum visual impact in its space near the center of the world's largest auto show, Detroit’s North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), without "breaking the bank."

SOLUTIONS: To limit handling costs, the exhibit made full use of MDS Exhibits' self-lifting technology, including an 80' wide lit "Suzuki" header system and five 20' wide LED walls. The exhibit included free-standing walls that surrounded the header system support beams and framed the LEDs. The walls sported a high-end faux marble finish that allowed for on-site repairs and minor paint touch-ups. A total of four exhibit kits were built and similar displays were sent to a total of forty auto shows.

RESULTS: The exhibit was highly visible from any vantage point on the show floor -- competing with Tier One exhibitors' visibility and attracting a commensurate number of visitors. The exhibit program exceeded all corporate expectations while staying well within ASMC’s budget.
