The 40' in diameter motion display shown above was created using a 20' Standard Automobile Turntable, aluminum staging, and three hub-less turntables. The center turntable rotated Chevrolet's plug-in concept vehicle, The Volt, while three concentric rings, supporting curved LED walls, rotated in opposite directions. A wood constructed surround, curved glass partitions, and proximity sensors were also employed to deter attendees from climbing onto the display. The display was part of Chevrolet's 2007 LA Auto Show exhibit as well as the main stage of its press event.
